This is a subjective opinion of how to object to a planning application

  1. Assemble all the relevant information
    (in most instances this will be present in documents that have already been sent to you)
  2. Recreate your objection based on that information – please put it in your own words

Post it on the SDNP planning site alongside the specific application.

Do’s and don’ts

  1. Do not mass copy and paste the “value” is lost
  2. Focus on the issues
  3. Comment on the regulations or policies that are not appropriate
  4. Avoid using emotive language
  5. Do not make it personal
